서울 국제교류복합지구(SID) 국제설계 

Seoul Stepping Stones는 프로젝트 디자인 전략에 대한 은유적 표현으로 사용된다. 과거의 자연적인 수변공간은 회복되어 물과 자연에 대한 인간의 경험을 극대화한다. 도시와 공원 사이의 경계가 해소되어 공원 내외의 접근성을 향상시키며 새롭게 조성되는 수변공간은 서울의 특별한 공원으로서 다양한 프로그램을 도입하여 활성화된다. 강남과 잠실 두 지역은 더이상 분리되어있지 않고 일, 문화, 여가와 생활의 공간으로 서로 연결된다. 보행교는 중심 요소로 존재한다. 한쪽에서 다른 한쪽으로 교차하고 연결하는 동시에 과거와 미래 사이를 연결하는 상징이 된다. 서울 징검다리는 소중한 추억과 미래의 가능성을 잇는다.

‘Seoul Stepping Stone’ is a metaphor expression of the design strategies. Natural waterside of the past will be restored and maximize the users’ experience of the water and nature. Boundaries between the city and park will be vague and it will enhance the accessibility to/from the park. The new waterfront will be activated with numerous activities. Gangnam and Jamil is not separated anymore but connected. The pedestrian bridge will be remained as a key element which connect the both districts. The Seoul Stepping Stone will bridge the memories of the past and potentials of the future.
